This
site is where shooting was judged. In line, across the width of the
range were 3 or 4 cement pads that held targets. Neighbors
remember when they shot machine guns there. There was also some
sort of rotating beacon that folks remember seeing on the ridge
above. There was a radio tower at building 139 there
too. Some say that these items are the only reason the whole hill
was not flattened.
