Capt. Ron Miller and retired pilot this PBY Vern Bouwman  -  Navy Oiler Historian

Capt. Ronald C. Miller and Vern Bouwman Attended this Celebration as representatives of Sand Point Naval Air Station - Now a National Historic Site      Captain Miller was the commander          of Sand Point NAS in 1978 - 1980                 Vern is webmaster of this site.

Ron and Vern were disappointed in their visit - the FAA stopped the PBY's from using the water to land and take off.
They did enjoy a tour of the History Center and a PBY, though.
